Sunday, February 1, 2026

Location: City of Refuge | 1300 Joseph E Boone Blvd Atlanta Ga 30314

Welcome, preparation, & Community Engagement

Sunday’s program prepares Link sisters for effective advocacy during Georgia Links Day at the Capitol. The afternoon will include a welcome, a hands-on community service experience, and a focused discussion offering policy context and practical guidance for engaging legislators.


Proposed Schedule
3:00–3:10 PM | Welcome
3:10–4:00 PM | Community Service Project
4:00–5:00 PM | Educational Tour of City of Refu
5:00–6:00 PM | Catered Welcome Reception


Attire: Links Casual Chic and Comfortable Shoes

Parking:

On-site parking is available. Additional public street parking is also accessible. Carpooling and ride share are encouraged.

Monday, February 2, 2026

Location: Sloppy Floyd Building | 200 Piedmont Ave. SE, Atlanta, GA | West Tower, 20th floor| Floyd Room

Advocacy in action

Monday centers on linking vision to action through engagement at the Georgia State Capitol. The day will feature a leadership panel with nonprofit CEOs and presidents sharing frontline perspectives on housing, food, and economic mobility, followed by an action-oriented legislative panel focused on advocacy. The program will conclude with a Capitol press conference and group photo, reinforcing our collective voice and commitment to change.

12:25 PM | Transition to the State Capitol

12:25 - 12:45 PM | Legislative Office Visits

1:00 PM | Capitol Press Conference and GLDAC Group Photo
